Art Eddy and Zach Rosenberg talk about the latest video games that are causing them to lose sleep at night, DC Comics new Rebirth comic series and they interview cast members and the executive producers of the new Disney XD show LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures. They talk with actor Eugene Byrd and Executive Producers, Bill Motz and Bob Roth.

Introducing new heroes and villains to the LEGO Star Wars universe, the animated television series LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures will premiere MONDAY, JUNE 20 (10:00 a.m. EDT), on Disney XD. Set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, the action comedy series follows the Freemakers, a family of sibling scavengers who operate a salvage and repair shop in space. The series will also feature familiar characters and locations from the filmed Star Wars saga.

Eugene Byrd stars as Zander Freemaker, the older brother that every kid wants, in the fun-filled animated series, LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures. In addition to voice work, Byrd currently can be seen on television on the FOX hit show Bones and CW’s Arrow. He has guest-starred on many series including The Mentalist, Numbers, Crossing Jordan,Heroes, Law and Order: SVU among others. In 2006 he won the Break-Out Performance Award at the Method Fest Independent Film Festival for his leading role in the movie Confess.

Bob Roth was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan and raised in Ithaca, New York where he was fed a steady diet of Lego Bricks and Star Wars toys. Bob graduated Cornell University in 1991 and moved west where he met his writing partner Bill Motz. They quickly sold their first script to Darkwing Duck and have since worked together on a variety of projects including Disney’s Kim Possible, Nickelodeon’s Rufus, and The Penguins of Madagascar for which they won an Emmy in 2011. He lives with his wife and two sons in Southern California.

Bill Motz is from Rock Island Illinois. He started making super-8 films in the second grade and continued on throughout his education, eventually turning his hobby into a vocation. A graduate of Wheaton College, Bill met Bob Roth while at a summer production workshop at USC. They bonded over their mutual love of Star Wars and have been writing and producing together ever since.
